ABBA release energetic new lyric music video for 1975 hit song 'SOS'

ABBA are back with another new music lyric video to give their much-loved 1975 classic 'SOS' a more modern look.

The beloved Swedish supergroup released the new video on Saturday much to the delight of fans.

Like the previous clips for 'Waterloo' and 'Chiquitita,' the video uses period footage of the group and adds the song's lyrics, seen across the screen in bright '70s-themed letters.

Written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, 'SOS' was the group's first major hit after their breakthrough at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest.

It climbed to number six in the UK and reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, their second Top 20 success in America, helped by appearances on both Saturday Night Live and American Bandstand.
