ABBA release nostalgic new lyric music video for their 1978 hit song 'Thank You For The Music'

ABBA are back with another new music lyric video to give their much-loved 1978 classic 'Thank You For The Music' a more modern look.

The beloved Swedish supergroup released the new video on Saturday much to the delight of fans.

Like the previous clips for 'Waterloo' and 'Chiquitita,' the video uses period footage of the group and adds the song's lyrics, seen across the screen in a script font.

Written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, 'Thank You For The Music' is ABBA's 20th-biggest song in the UK, including both pure sales and digital streams.

The title itself was also taken to signal the end of ABBA, leading it to be considered a farewell song.
