In honour of Gerry Marsden and other musicians who passed away during the past year, Brittany Howard and Coldplay's Chris Martin belted out a heartfelt performance of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' as part of the "In Memoriam" segment at the Grammy Awards on Monday.
Taking to the stage at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the American singer performed the emotional song originally written by Rodgers and Hammerstein and popularised by Gerry and the Pacemakers, while Martin accompanied on piano.
Marsden died on January 3, 2021, after being diagnosed with a blood infection in his heart. He was 78.
