New Zealand has 15 new cases of Covid-19 in the community, says Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield.

All of the new cases are in Auckland.

That brings the total number of active cases in the community in Auckland to 262 (the total number of cases in this outbreak is now 1,123).

Three of today's cases are yet to be epidemiologically linked.

There are 15 people in hospital, including three patients in intensive care.

The rest of the country is at alert level 2.
