Dolly Parton performs emotional cover of ‘Sweet Music Man’ at tribute concert for Kenny Rogers

In celebration of the life and music of Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton paid an emotional tribute to her dear friend as part of the CMT GIANTS Kenny Rogers: A Benefit for MusiCares.

Performing from her home in Nashville, Parton sang a stunning cover of Rogers' 1977 track 'Sweet Music Man'.

Dressed in white and surrounded by candles, the country music queen could be seen strumming an acoustic guitar for the sombre performance.

Rogers died on March 20 from natural causes. He was 81.
