Every Mr. Bean episode is coming to TVNZ 2 in celebration of the show's 30th anniversary

It's hard to believe, but it has been 30 years since the comedy legend Mr. Bean stumbled onto our TV screens, with his teddy bear tucked under one arm and a wide-eyed expression plastered on his face. 

So to celebrate, TVNZ 2 want fans to relive the magic behind the unlikely hero.

Returning to prime time on Sunday 5 September at 7pm, viewers will be able to reminisce on the beloved British sitcom starring Sir Rowan Atkinson as TVNZ 2 plays every episode ever released, weekly.

Atkinson's iconic character - who became a global comedy phenomenon - starred in 14 original episodes as well as a "best of" episode.

In case you need a refresher, the show's synopsis states: "Bumbling, childlike Mr. Bean has trouble completing the simplest of tasks in day-to-day life, but his perseverance and resourcefulness frequently allow him to find ingenious ways around problems."
