Hilary Barry has been entertaining fans throughout the nationwide lockdown with her hilarious "Formal Friday" outfits.

But this week's look was a tad more serious.

Posting to her Instagram, the much-loved TV presenter donned a black suit, a remembrance poppy and a black bowtie, which she revealed was her late fathers.

Alongside the picture, the 50-year-old wrote: "I was going to ditch the tiara for today's #formalfriday and then I thought ... yeah nah.

"Fashion credits: Dearly departed Dad's bow tie. Son's shirt."

Today's outfit comes after Hilary previously dressed in a red and green tartan gown from her 21st, an elegant black sequined dress with a low plunging mesh neckline and a bright red ball dress - which featured a big bow on one shoulder.

Last year Barry won The New Zealand Television Award for Best News and Current Affairs Presenter for her coverage of the Christchurch mosque attacks.

We love it! Keep up the amazing outfits, Hilary!
