John Travolta pays tribute to Kelly Preston with sweet dance with their daughter

John Travolta vowed to always remember his wife Kelly Preston's "love and life" following her tragic death last month.

And now he is honouring the 57-year-old actress by doing one of the things she loved the most: dancing.

The beloved Grease star returned to Instagram over the weekend to share a sweet video of him and daughter Ella Bleu Travolta dancing together in memory of his late wife Kelly Preston.

In the footage, Travolta and his 20-year-old daughter can be seen twirling across the dance floor to the sound of soft jazz music in front of an almost-vacant bar area.

Alongside the clip, the 66-year-old actor wrote: "My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma. One of Kelly’s favourite things, dancing with me.

Preston passed away in July after privately battling breast cancer for the last two years.

Travolta wrote an emotional post on Instagram July 13, confirming that his wife of 28 years had died.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many."

As well as John and Ella, Kelly is survived by her nine-year-old son Benjamin.

The couple's 16-year-old son Jett tragically died in January 2009 after suffering a seizure.
