Jon Bon Jovi has just got into the festive spirit with his brand new cover of the holiday classic 'Fairytale of New York' by Irish-British Celtic punk band The Pogues.
The rocker's rendition will feature on his new holiday album, A Jon Bon Jovi Christmas, alongside two other Christmas covers; Tom Petty's 'Christmas All Over Again' and Elvis Presley's 'If I Get Home On Christmas Day'.
Controversy has surrounded the song for a number of years, with some claiming the use of homophobic and sexist slurs make the track unsuitable for the public domain.
