Kelly Clarkson belts out heartfelt live cover of Rod Stewart's 'Forever Young'

Kelly Clarkson is starting 2022 on an inspirational note.

Kicking off Wednesday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 39-year-old singer flawlessly belted out Rod Stewart's 1988 classic 'Forever Young.'

Stewart's song - a reworking of Bob Dylan's 1974 hit of the same title - is an ode to his children with emotionally charged lyrics.

'Forever Young' spent 24 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release. The song was also nominated for best rock vocal performance at the Grammy Awards that year.
