Kelly Clarkson belts out powerful live cover of Phil Collins' 'I Wish It Would Rain Down'

She's done it again!

Kicking off Friday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the American Idol winner paid tribute to Phil Collins ahead of his 70th birthday with a powerful cover of his hit ballad 'I Wish It Would Rain Down.'

Surrounded by simulated raindrops, the 38-year-old singer stayed faithful to the 1989 song and nailed all those high notes as per usual.

It's the first time she's covered a Phil Collins song since her show began in 2019.

'I Wish It Would Rain Down' appears on Collins' 1989 album, ... But Seriously, and features Eric Clapton on guitar.
