Lady Gaga stuns in first official trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming film about the Gucci family murder

She first stole our hearts and proved her acting chops in A Star Is Born.

And now Lady Gaga is ready to stun again with her next big role ...

In the first official trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming film House of Gucci, which was released over the weekend, we got our first look at the 'Shallow' singer in action.

Set in Italy in 1995, the fashion biopic unravels the true-crime tale of Patrizia Reggiani, an Italian socialite, who after marrying into fashion royalty was sentenced to 29 years in prison for plotting the murder of husband Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver).

Maurizio – who was murdered on his office steps by a hitman in 1995 - was the grandson of Guccio Gucci who launched the world-renowned Italian fashion label, Gucci.

Gaga is taking on the pivotal role of Patrizia who was nicknamed The Black Widow by the media.

The film - which is based on the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden - also stars Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek, and Al Pacino.

House of Gucci is scheduled to be released on November 25.
