Harry and Meghan paid tribute to the victims of the Christchurch shootings when they visited New Zealand house in London just yesterday.

They were among the first few people to visit the house and sign the book.

On behalf of the whole royal family, the Duke and Duchess simply wrote: "We are with you."

Prince Harry and his heavily pregnant wife used their knowledge of Maori customs by greeting officials with a hongi before signing the book.

Meghan was also wearing a pair of earrings that Jacinda gave her during their visit to our country late last year.

The couple spoke with Sir Jerry Mateparae before sharing their tributes and laying bouquets of flowers for the victims.

According to a royal source, the Queen requested that Harry and Meghan visit on behalf of the royal family as they were the last to visit our country.

When talking about the attacks, Meghan said "we are with you" and revealed that she was "just devastated".

Harry added that "it's just very sad" and asked about everyone's connection to Christchurch.

Jerry Mateparae said: "We are overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of support we've received from across the UK.

"Their Royal Highness's visit is reflective of this outpouring of support and it was wonderful to welcome them to New Zealand House."
