Music icon Olivia Newton-John says she is "feeling good" amid her fight against breast cancer ... and it's all thanks to plant medicine.

The 72-year-old singer gave the health update during a recent interview with Closer magazine.

"After having lived for years with different cancers, and having surgery, chemotherapy and radiation ... I’ve taken a lot of plant medicine over the last years and have done well," the much-loved Australian said.

"There are a lot of herbs I take. And I've used cannabis."

She also said that it has helped her with both "pain and sleep," with her cancer having spread to her lower back.

"My husband makes me tinctures that help me immensely with pain, inflammation, sleep and anxiety. I’d like to research all that and find out what else is going on because I feel good."

Olivia then went on to push a vegan diet, adding: "I'd also been eating vegan because my daughter was visiting me and she's a vegan. I feel very good. I try to do something for myself every day that I love, like seeing my horses or sitting in the garden."

Olivia was diagnosed with her third bout of cancer in 2017 after she was successfully cured of the disease in 1992 and 2013.
