While Queen and Adam Lambert should be touring the UK and Europe right now, the global pandemic has meant the band have been in lockdown.

But that hasn't stopped Roger Taylor's creative juices flowing ...

The legendary drummer has just released a brand new solo single called 'Isolation.'

'Isolation' was written in his Cornwall garden shed and the accompanying music video "reflects on marking time in isolation as clocks tick and their hands turn and TV footage shows an endless tide of information as the world adjusts to these strange times of Covid-19."

For the slow-paced acoustic glam-rock tune, the 70-year-old played all of the instruments and handled all vocals on the track.

The drummer's last solo album, his fifth, called Fun on Earth was released in 2013.

Since then Taylor has released two other solo singles; 2017’s 'Journey’s End' and 2019’s 'Gangsters Are Running This World.'
