If you love Ronan Keating and you also love Ed Sheeran, we could have some exciting news for you ...

After the 'Shape Of You' hitmaker played guitar on the former Boyzone star's last album Twenty Twenty, Keating has just revealed the British singer-songwriter has also "done something" on his upcoming album.

Speaking the The Sun, the Irish chart-topper said: "I have got an album in November and a tour in January, February and March. It's a concept record.

"Indirectly Ed has done something on the new album but I can't tell you any more at this stage.

"He played guitar on the last one on a couple of songs."

Twenty Twenty saw the 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' singer dip his toes into country, as he also joined forces with Australian actress Clare Bowen – who is best known for her role on the television series Nashville.

Robbie Williams also duetted with Keating on the album, as they paid tribute to late Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gately – who died in 2009, aged just 33 – with the emotional number 'The Big Goodbye'.

We can't wait to see how Ronan and Ed have collaborated!
