Last year, popular Netflix drama The Crown found its Princess Diana, with Emma Corrin portraying the much-loved princess in season four of the show.

But while The Crown is currently in a lull as we await season five, the streaming service has released a deleted scene to tide fans over.

During season four, the hit show recreated Princess Diana's performance of Phantom of the Opera's 'All I Ask of You,' which she filmed and gave to Prince Charles for their seventh wedding anniversary in 1988.

While viewers only got to watch a snippet of the musical number in the scene where Diana shared the recording with Charles (Josh O'Connor), the newly released deleted scene shows the princess' performance in its entirety - and it is stunning.

Though some aspects of The Crown are fictionalised, this scene was closely tied to true events.

Diana really did film herself performing the powerful love song from Andrew Lloyd Webber's stage show and shot the video on the musical's West End set.

Annie Sulzberger, head researcher for The Crown, confirmed the story.
