Today is a very special day for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; their eldest child and future King, Prince George, is turning six!
In celebration of the young royal's birthday, Prince William and Kate Middleton have released three new portraits of their son - and he is one handsome little lad.
Two of the sweet snaps show the little prince playing in the grass and flashing adorable smiles at the camera.
According to the royal's official Instagram account, the photos - which were shot by the Duchess - were taken in the gardens of the Cambridge's home at Kensington Palace.
Dressed in an England football shirt, the birthday boy is giving us major flashbacks to Catherine at the same age.
The third photo shows him on a family holiday, wearing a green polo shirt and striped blue and white shorts.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness's sixth birthday," reads a statement from Kensington Palace, which was released alongside the photos on social media.
Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London.
He appeared in front of the world's media one day later, when Prince William and Catherine stood cradling him on the hospital steps.
