What happens when you put pop megastar George Michael and Motown legend Smokey Robinson together?

You get one EPIC duet, of course!

Footage from 1985 of the 'Faith' singer performing at "Motown Returns to the Apollo" at the Apollo Theater in New York has just resurfaced online and it is not to be missed.

Taking to the stage alongside the soul legend, the pair wowed the crowd with their flawless rendition of 'Careless Whisper'.

Just 21-years-old at the time, George had the honour of joining a number of music's biggest names, including Boy George, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, James Brown, Patti LaBelle and many more at the monumental three-hour Motown gig.

"That was a bolt out of the blue when I was offered that," George later told The San Francisco Examiner. "I felt so privileged.

"It was amazing. I was there in a daze, I just couldn't understand why they had invited me."

He truly was so talented!
