After winning the Rugby World Cup 34-31 over England on Saturday night, Black Ferns star Ruby Tui finished the evening on the highest of highs by leading Eden Park's 40,000-strong crowd in a classic celebratory waiata.

Beginning her post-match interview by thanking the crowd for their support, she said: "I’m just so proud to be a New Zealander right now.

"They said nobody cared about women’s rugby, well guess what? We are out here. We’re going nowhere."

Beaming with pride, she continued: "They said we couldn’t do it, they said we wouldn’t and honestly - it took all of us.

"Anybody out there defended an England mob before? It ain’t easy on the last minute baby, but we all did it together. New Zealand was a part of that. I’m so proud to be here right now."

At this stage, with the crowd in the palm of her hand, Tui kicked off an incredible rendition of Tūtira Mai Ngā Iwi.

The crowd were quick to join in and with it came a giant grin on Tui's face.
