Engelbert Humperdinck has had an incredible career, he has had multiple massive hits over the years, and has sold over 150 million records worldwide.

He recently caught up with Jase to talk about his upcoming New Zealand shows.

During the interview, Elvis Presley came up, who was one of Engelbert's very close friends.

Jase asked: "I know you were best friends with Elvis, and everyone's got a moment when they remember exactly where they were when Elvis passed away, do you remember where you were?"

"Yes, I was at Lake Tahoe, and at that particular time I was doing the same trilogy that Elvis was doing," Engelbert said.

"The curtains came up for me to do the trilogy, I was not there, I couldn't do it. I just couldn't put myself through something that Elvis did on his death day," he added.

Engelbert went on to talk about how the two first met and how Elvis was such a nice man.
