Toni Street's husband shares his ultimate life hack for removing stamens off lilies

We all know a bouquet of beautiful lilies can make a room look so much brighter, but if you're not careful, you'll find that their pollen has the same effect on everything it touches.

One accidental brush of your shirt against that new bouquet, and suddenly you've got a problem: powdery lily pollen stains, bright yellowy-orange and famously tricky to remove.

So, how do you prevent this from happening?

Toni Street's husband Matt has just discovered the ultimate trick for removing the stamens, without the mess that the pollen brings when it touches the petals, your hands, or your clothes.

Taking to Instagram, Matt shared a video of himself using their vacuum cleaner to quickly and easily remove the pesky anthers.

In less than five seconds, all the stamens have been neatly removed.
