As Air New Zealand's 80th birthday fast approaches, the airline has released a poignant video tribute to all Kiwis featuring all their iconic adverts from years gone by.

The video features the airline's famous tune of 'Pokarekare Ana', sung by Hayley Westenra, and it voiced by Temuera Morrison.

He begins by saying: "All that we have achieved together as a nation, and as an airline over the last 80 years, would not have been possible without all of you."

"There have been some challenges, but together we will continue to look forward.

"Always innovating, always with people at our heart.

"Thank you Aotearoa, for your love, patience, kindness and support."
