As the global pandemic continues to affect countries around the world, this group of emergency healthcare workers are doing their best to bring a little joy to everyone who has felt the impact of COVID-19.

Performing a moving virtual cover of Crowded House's 'Better Be Home Soon' more than 100 emergency department staff from New Zealand, Australia and the UK teamed up to create the group ED Musos.

Dr Clare Skinner who produced and arranged the performance said they chose 'Better Be Home Soon' as it perfectly captured the way people were feeling.

"We're all feeling homesick and separated from people during the pandemic. We're really desperate to see our loved ones and colleagues in other places," Skinner said.

And their rendition of 'Better Be Home Soon' is so good, even Crowded House is impressed.

The iconic Kiwi-Aussie band posted the cover to their own Facebook page calling it "spectacular" and "deeply moving."
