Jacinda Ardern and daughter Neve record sweet message for fellow plane passenger's daughter

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and her one year daughter Neve took some time out during a domestic flight to record a sweet video message for the daughter of a woman she was sitting next to.

Sharing the video on Twitter, the woman's friend Hannah Mundell wrote: "I missed my flight so they gave my seat to @jacindaardern and Neve who sat with my girlfriends and she did this awesome video for her daughter."

Jacinda can be seen holding Neve in the video as she says: "Hey Freya, this is Jacinda and look I've got a special guest here, little Neve saying hi as well."

"Sounds like your mum's been away ... seeing Hugh Jackman. I hope she got you a present."

Before signing off, Jacinda quickly shared some advice with Freya, telling her not to get tattoos until she is older because she "might change her mind."

The video has since gone viral, with commenters saying the video shows Jacinda is a "PM of the people".
