Katy Perry has released a brand new Christmas song and the music video is a tad bizarre

Jumping on the bandwagon, American pop star Katy Perry has got in the spirit of Christmas with a brand new festive song!

And the 35-year-old singer has just unveiled the festive-themed music video for the hit, 'Cozy Little Christmas' - and it's a tad bizarre!

The clip – which was directed by WATTS who have previously directed videos for tech company Apple - show Perry getting cozy with none other than Saint Nick himself.

In it she and Mr. Claus head to a warmer climate along with some other seasonal favourites for a little rest and relaxation.

Joined by the reindeers, the pair relax by the pool, get massages and dance in the living room.

"Nothing lights my fire or wraps me up, baby, like you do," Perry sings.

"Just want a cozy, a cozy little Christmas here with you."

It's definitely a jingle to give you a new way to view Kris Kringle!
