Kelly Clarkson belts out awesome cover of Dolly Parton's '9 to 5'

Kelly Clarkson has taken on Dolly Parton's iconic hit '9 to 5' - and she totally nailed it!

As part of a promotion for her upcoming new TV talk show, called The Kelly Clarkson Show, the American Idol winner made a cheeky video covering the Queen of Country's classic song.

In the clip, the 37-year-old wakes up, grabs a cup of coffee and takes a shower before heading out for a day of work. We see her in a wide array of jobs, including a mechanic, a waitress, a construction worker, a firefighter and a police officer.

While there have been plenty of impressive covers of the song over the years, Clarkson's fun rendition with her powerful pipes is definitely one of our favourites.
