Watch the hilarious trailer for Flight of the Conchord's new HBO special

Kiwi comedy duo Flight of the Conchords have released a trailer for their new live show.

Flight of the Conchords: Live at the London Apollo was announced by Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement in a YouTube trailer today.

"We just wanted to let you know we're coming back to HBO for a live special," Clement said.

"You're supposed to say 'can you believe it,'" McKenzie interrupts.

The show was recorded at the Eventim Apollo during the Flight of the Conchords Sing Flight of the Conchords Tour.

The 2018 live TV special will air on HBO on October 6. No details of a New Zealand release have been revealed at this stage.
